We now know that James Quilligan, our guest moderator, will be fresh from the ‘Awakened World 2012’ conference in Rome and Florence among key members of the International Interreligious Peace Council and their peers from the world’s religious and spiritual communities in 20 countries, Before that lead role in Rome and Florence last week, James presented a detailed proposal for a Great Lakes Commons Trust at a Regional Commons Gathering in South Bend, Indiana. He is a philosopher and development economist of repute, who from carefully articulated vision to effective change, fathoms the depths and possibilities of a Replenishing Global Economy. On those days he will help us to apply these challenges to the UK scene as we take another broad step in the development of an effective Alliance, by comparing a number of approaches to the task.
