Value one’s roots, honour your nurture,

but let go of labels to retain and freely share shafts of life’s enduring wisdom.

Take the Chanukah symbol in Trafalgar square this year;

why not present unlabelled wisdom referring to source only by postscript,

avoiding the first impact of pre-judgement.

So might we search out significance not according to labels,

but in delight and surprise by savouring inherent wisdom from the ancient of days..

we all need to reconnect with the transforming power of universe,

       inherent unity and still emergent sensibilities towards our shared humanity

and genuine possibilities of justice and peace<
