d] an analogy!!!

THE MEANING OF CAKE:
She stared into the slice of cake,
as it sat unenthusiastically
beside her coffee.
It seemed cake was everywhere.
And cake had been her downfall.
Or so she’d thought.

It had been a while since she’d
seen her toes.

She remembered back
to a time when cake was
rare. When the very
mention of cake
lit her smile. When
cake meant something.

But now there was too much.
There was too much of everything.

And the too much had numbed her
to the experience of the world.

As she stared into the slice,
she dreamed of a time of ‘not too much’.
Where, once again, cake would mean something.

FROM SINGLE ACT TO CRITICAL MASS

What’s being done today
and what awaits the morrow
if of 187 on this list each acts
the mass moves towards critical;
and change we despair of may yet come.

Yours along the pilgrims’ costly way,

Peter

THE THESIS IS SIMPLE:
Our present ways of knowing are imbalanced, which has skewed the economic system and reduced the commons of the ordinary world into commodities and money. Since all people have two brain hemispheres which process complementary views on the nature of reality as a whole and as a part, a foundation exists for economic knowledge that is both universal and pluralistic. The development of this theory of knowledge [epistemology] will reunite the economy with the commons [ontology]. .JBQ

ITS APPLICATION IS OUR TOUGH TASK
……. in which we must each respect each other’s contribution and starting point.
