London Global Open Table: 15th June 2011

Latest on the letter to the ICB  We still invite more to consent, in order to emphasise in follow-up that the challenge doest diminish.

  1. June 20th A Muslim Christian Dialogue on ‘Change’ in London– if interested ask for details. The Muslim reps will be from a variety of Arabic countries. 
  2. July 20th  Ellen Brown will be at the Global Table and thereafter at Moeen’s Global Vision2000 seminar in a House of Lords Committee Rm. Let me know if you wish to come to either.  The Table attendance is limited to 14.
  3. August 27th-29th We are seeking a CCMJ slot at Greenbelt Festival. If you are interested let me know so details can follow. 
  4.  September 24th MOVING PLANET DAY on Climate Change – A world wide galaxy of events to awaken us all to hope,  urgency and action. CCMJ has registered an event at St James’s Piccadily 10-1 in which we will examine ‘How the redemption of money and the collection of economic rent for the community relate to Climate Change.”  Please let me know of your interest a s a p, so that we have some idea of how to prepare for this gathering. This may well represent the annual late summer meeting of CCMJ and include as an add-on our rudimentary AGM.
  1. ICB letter.   It is not too late to consent to your name and occupation being included among the signatories of the letter to the ICB – we have 168 signatures as of today. The letter will be posted on June 8th
