Things aren\u2019t getting any better because so few are addressing what\u2019s really wrong &#8211; a foundational fault requiring inclusive system change. What we accept today as interest was once called usury, and that through most of history almost everyone was against it.\u201d All the great faith traditions forbade usury for thousands of years. The Christian Church emphasised it until, in Calvin&#8217;s time, \u2018Interest\u2019 was watered down to \u2018Excessive Interest\u2019. Usury then became exponentially disproportionate in undermining justice throughout the human community. Reports on tackling this \u00a0prime issue are always welcome: \u00a0CCMJ and ICUK continue to probe and propose a model of genuinely inclusive\u00a0Public Policy\u00a0that involves an integrated social-political-economy that includes the introduction of Annual Ground Rent [ use of theh Commons], the abolition of Usury, a universal right to basic living, and the curtailment of those permanent hierarchies exercising exploitative power over others.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ccmj.org\">www.ccmj.org<\/a>\u00a0 &#8211; recent updates are on:\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ccmj.org\/wp\">www.ccmj.org\/wp<\/a>\u00a0Eg\u00a0 Be humble about our knowledge.<strong>CCMJ\/ORG\/ICUK<\/strong>\u00a0fora have considered important aphorisms that help the development of dialogue and takes us into new understandings of the co-operative task.
