And the reaon things aren\u2019t getting any better is because no one is talking about what\u2019s really wrong. \u2026\u2026 What we accept today as interest was once called usury, and that through most of history almost everyone was against it.\u201d All the great faith traditions forbade usury for thousands of years. The Christian Church emphasised it until, in Calvin&#8217;s time, \u2018Interest\u2019 was watered down to \u2018Excessive Interest\u2019. Usury then became exponentially disproportionate in undermining justice throughout the human community.
